BACH IN THE SUBWAYS

Television documentary, 26 mins

Release date: 2015

Bach in the Subways is an international movement founded in New York by cellist Dale Henderson. Every year on Johann Sebastian Bach’s birthday, musicians around the world celebrate Bach in the Subways Day by offering performances of his music in subways, public spaces, and concerts open to all. In 2015 Hungary joined the movement with hundreds of participants in five venues all around Budapest.

Five crews were following the events and made interviews with the participants for a 26 minutes long television film and for a short teaser video about the athmosphare.
